Privacy policy
This policy explains how Keonda (keonda.surf) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use the platform.
1. Data we collect
Account details (name, email, contact phone number), booking information, payment metadata and, when we need to verify your identity — for example, to rent equipment — your full name and your CPF or passport number. Card details are processed by Stripe and never touch our servers. In justified cases — for example, a no-show incident or a deposit claim — we may also collect your location and photos of the rented equipment.
2. How we use it
To manage bookings and payments, notify you about changes to your reservations and provide customer support.
3. Sharing
We share booking details with the provider you book with, and processing data with our providers Stripe (payments) and Supabase (hosting). With enough notice before the service, we also share your phone number with the provider so you can resolve any last-minute questions and have more direct communication, solely to ensure the quality and proper delivery of the service. Your CPF or passport number is different: it is never shown to the provider/listing owner — it would only be shared with police or the courts if legally required to do so. We never sell your data. Photos and videos we collect (for example, from the equipment delivery/return record) are not shared on social media unless there is an express agreement to the contrary. We also do not use your data for advertising purposes beyond the Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies described in the Cookies section below, which only run with your consent, and we never sell your data to third parties for advertising.
4. Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by writing to hola@keonda.surf (GDPR).
5. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for your login session and to remember your language. With your consent, asked for on your first visit, we also use Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies to understand how the site is used and measure the performance of our ads; these only run after you accept, and you can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
6. Sign in with Google
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them only to create your Keonda account, identify you when you log in and send you booking notifications: we do not sell them, use them for advertising or share them with third parties beyond what is described above. You can revoke Keonda's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
